New Research Fellow to Join Future Fellowship Project

Sean Donahue, a philosopher at University of Southern California, has accepted an offer to join MINT for a two-year postdoc, to start mid-2022, as part of the 'Automatic Authorities: Charting a Course for Legitimate AI' Future Fellowship project. Sean, who will complete his PhD mid-2022, has already published brilliant political philosophy papers at the Australasian Journal of Philosophy and the Journal of Political Philosophy. As he transitions to thinking about the morality and politics of data and AI, he is especially interested in the interaction between the principles and theory of public justification with our increasing reliance on opaque computational systems.
