Sean Donahue Tours Sydney, Hong Kong, and CMU
MINT Lab research fellow Sean Donahue conducted an international tour to share research related to his project on the legitimacy of online platforms. Stops included The University of Sydney, Hong Kong University, and Carnegie Mellon University. Sean delivered his presentation ‘Platform Tyranny, Rule of Law, and Virtual Community’ to philosophy departments at each of these locations, delivered a guest lecture on AI and legitimacy at Hong Kong University, and had the chance to meet with various MINT Lab friends and affiliates. His travel was made possible in part thanks to funding from the MINT Lab and the ANU’s Integrated AI Network.
