Stanford 2019 Fall Conference: AI Ethics, Policy and Governance

Seth Lazar

Together with Stanford's Rob Reich, Seth Lazar co-convened a session of the Human-Centred AI Institute's fall conference on AI Ethics, Policy and Governance, on 'New Directions in AI Ethics'. The session featured papers by Gabbrielle Johnson (NYU), Annette Zimmermann (Princeton), and author Jamie Susskind, as well as by Seth. Each of these short presentations aimed to show how work on the moral and political philosophy of AI needn't by constrained by the standard approaches to 'AI Ethics'.
