Dr Rhiannon Neilsen works in international normative theory, combining ethics and international relations. Her PhD considered ways in which algorithmic interventions could be used to prevent genocide, and she is now exploring the obligations that technology companies have to use their algorithmic tools to intervene in global conflicts. She is spending a year as a postdoc at the ANU Bell School, before heading to Stanford in August 2022 for a postdoc there.
