Aleks Hammo is an Honours student writing a thesis on Longtermism and Existential Risk under Seth Lazar.

Aleks has previously studied a LLB (Hons) / Biomedical Science at Monash University, and during his BA at The University of Melbourne he received a scholarship to study Philosophy and Law at both King’s College London and University College London.

Outside his studies, Aleks hosts a podcast, hosts live interviews with philosophers and other public figures, makes short videos about philosophy, politics, and mental health, teaches a beginners philosophy course, and then goes on long runs to forget about all the philosophy.
