Kristina joins the MINT Lab as a research affiliate, bringing a unique background in sociology, public policy, and technology ethics. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Kristina furthered her education with a Master's in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2023. She honed her focus on technology policy, particularly as it intersects with societal impacts and ethical considerations of artificial intelligence.
Currently, Kristina is engaged in a project that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to craft insightful summaries of significant developments in AI ethics and safety. Kristina’s background in sociology and public policy is instrumental in her approach to navigating the complex relationship between AI technologies and societal norms. She is passionate about fostering a future where AI not only enhances our capabilities but does so in a manner that aligns with and upholds our shared ethical principles.
