I enjoy bringing together ideas from seemingly unrelated fields, connecting dots to find solutions in unexpected places. I explore computer science, cognitive science and philosophy in an attempt to address questions about the mind and how we might build or modify it. I've recently put forward a mathematical formalism of artificial general intelligence which I am extending to discover how behaviours we associate with the human mind can arise from mechanistic processes.
