Sean Donahue’s main interests are in political philosophy and epistemology. Topics he is currently researching include the relations between artificial intelligence and political legitimacy and the normative importance of designing digital spaces to organize large amounts of information. His work is leading him to explore the ways that rule by AI that can arise in rather mundane circumstances though a lack of monitoring and how digital technologies that overwhelm us with information can undermine our autonomy.
