A.G. Holdier is a Doctoral Academy Fellow and PhD candidate at the University of Arkansas completing twin dissertation projects in philosophy and public policy. The former explores the effects of emerging technologies on how we use words to create and navigate our social spaces, adapting familiar tools from theology and philosophy of language to better understand how we "give our word" to others; the latter applies this theoretical framework via quantitative analyses of democratization narratives for AI governance to scrutinize the practical impact of our normative discourse on policy agenda-setting and implementation.
A.G. has been involved remotely with MINT since participating in the 2023 PAIS Doctoral Colloquium. He is currently on the academic job market.
