Anton Leicht
Anton is a PhD candidate at Bayreuth University, interested in AI, moral philosophy, social choice and decision theory.
His current research focuses on the democratic alignment of advanced AI agents: Who should get a say in AI agent choices, how democratic input can be aggregated to guide these choices, and what technical and governance constraints apply to this democratic alignment.
Through work with thinktank KIRA and popular writing, Anton tries to contribute his research work to the many ongoing policy processes around AI.
Anton holds an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the LSE, and has previously worked in German and EU policy and politics.
