Ben is an Honours student in the MINT lab, focussing on the moral limits of AI. After completing a BA from Sydney University, Ben worked as a consultant at The Ethics Centre and Deloitte in areas including applied ethics, organisational culture and climate change mitigation. Public reports he's contributed to include a review of Cricket Australia following their ball tampering scandal, an analysis of the economic value of ethicsto Australia, and research into risks and opportunities of AI-driven marketing.
Interested in how moral/political theory can be applied in practice, he's a trained counsellor for a free ethical decision-making helpline (Ethi-call); he's taught critical thinking classes for primary school students; facilitated moral courage workshops for high school students; and has been involved in several political campaigns.
