Emily Leijer

PhD Candidate

Emily is a PhD candidate in philosophy at ANU, specialising in moral, social and political philosophy. She has a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Government/International Relations from the University of Sydney, and an MA in Political Thought from the University of Exeter. Emily is formulating a theoretical account of ‘anticipatory governance’ or, in other words, how predictions and expectations might be legitimately incorporated into governance practices.
