I am Felicity, I just completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Sheffield. My work primarily focuses on moral psychology and cognitive science. My PhD thesis investigates the question of whether we have an innate, unified, and domain-specific psychological mechanism for moral cognition. In addition to human moral psychology and normative cognition, I am also interested in the philosophy of AI. In terms of AI research, I am addressing the following questions:

  1. How can we understand AI, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) agency?

  2. Can AI perform moral cognition, or is it a uniquely human capability?

  3. Can machine learning generate novel kinds of bias?
