Damian Clifford

Research Fellow

Damian Clifford is a senior lecturer at the Australian National University, College of Law and an associate researcher at the Information Law and Policy Centre at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (University of London). His research focuses predominantly on data protection/privacy and the regulation of technology and in particular focuses on the legal issues surrounding the monetisation of online behaviour and the nudging or manipulation of internet users. Damian has collaborated closely with computer scientists and social scientists on projects, papers and research proposals with his research heavily influenced by interdisciplinary insights.
